Dear Residents

Residents public meeting: 8pm Monday 16th September 2024 at Methodist Church Hall, Percy Road IG3 8DQ: Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers:

The legal campaign now stands at £1408, a further £122 means we reach 9% of the initial target. To donate please go to

We had around 60 residents to our meeting in July to campaign for a new wing for King George. The new wing campaign is linked to the Tesco campaign.. This is because we hope to explore the merits of arguing that Redbridge Council and the London Mayor are acting unlawfully by building high rise flats without building sufficient NHS infrastructure such as more in-patient beds and GP practices to cope with the growing population.

For example rather than build a GP practice at the proposed Tesco development, a hotel is being considered instead! The meeting on the 16th September will discuss a march to publicise the campaign for a new wing at King George.

To join the campaign for updates at the WhatsApp group, please scan the QR code.

Regards

Andy Walker
