Dear Residents

Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers: Public Meeting 8pm Monday 3rd March at Methodist Church Hall Percy Road IG3 8UA: Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers and other issues

Council officers were not providing a guarantee that the new plan for the Tesco site, which is expected to include a hotel, rather than a school, will go to a planning committee. Following an intervention by Keith Prince, our elected GLA representative, the Council have committed to the new plan going to a public planning committee. This is a step forward for our campaign because it gives us more time to fundraise. A decision by council officers behind closed doors would be quicker and more difficult for us to influence.

The legal campaign has a total of gofundme and cash donations of £2,240, a further £140 means we reach 14% of the initial target. To donate please scan the QR code or go to link below
