Many thanks to St Paul's church for use of venue for public meeting on 14th march
It is very kind of St Pauls to allow the campaign to use their church for a public meeting on Saturday 14th March at 4:30 to 5.45pm. While I believe the site is unsuitable for housing due to air pollution issues per the Gladman case, I respect the views of those who might be on the platform who could argue a smaller development might be required in view of the acute housing shortage. However, we would all argue that the present development should not go ahead.
St Pauls say
“St Paul’s Church is happy to facilitate public debate on these proposals but the Church Council has not taken a view on the desirability or otherwise of this development.”
Draft leaflet to go out for consultation with invited speakers:
Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers
venue: St Pauls Church, Barley Lane junction with Atholl Road
Saturday 14th March 4:30pm
speakers:
Habibi Ali - Reclaim Redbridge invited (not confirmed going to print)
Bob Archer - Redbridge Trades Union Council
Cllr Bob Littlewood - invited (not confirmed going to print)
Meenakshi Sharma - Ilford Lives Matter invited (not confirmed going to print)
Keith Prince invited (not confirmed going to print)
Sam Tarry - invited (not confirmed going to print)
Greens & Liberal Democrats invited
Andy Walker - resident
As we had to turn away people from the last meeting as the community hall was too small, St Pauls have generously offered us the church as a venue this time.
The speakers will set out ideas for how to stop the Tescos development.
Will also hope to have speakers form other local campaigns with a view to discussing if we can work together.

It would be much appreciated if you display poster on window.
