Letter for Faith Groups First Draft Below
Dear Faith Group Leader
Tesco Development Proposal
Following a meeting of the stop the Tesco Toxic Towers Campaign Group on zoom I write to you if could discuss whether your faith group might consider any of the actions below:
Supporting Barley Lane and Chadwell primary schools who have objected to the development by putting in your own objections. Their reasons for objecting are at the stop the Tesco Toxic Towers website.
If your group does not wish to make a formal objection it would be helpful if you could write to Cllr Athwal Leader of Redbridge Council asking him a) to deliver on his June 2020 promise at the Redbridge Cabinet to publish cumulative impact assessment of so many developments being planned for our area and/or b) Ask the Leader to carry out pollution monitoring at bus stops near the sites planned to be built upon.
Regards
Faith Group member
Writing to Sam Tarry MP
As agreed I wrote to Sam per the below:
Dear Sam
Paul has written to Robert Jenrick MP seeking he review the Bodgers and Recorder House decisions.
Reclaim Redbridge met last night and asked you to whatever you can to stop the development. Ideally a public statement pointing that as Jenrick has intervened to order a review of a development in the PMs constituency he should give serious consideration to any plea you might make.
The lack of air quality monitoring at bus stops at child height, population pressures on health and education & the EMF survey issue all come to mind for Jenrick to review the decision.
Secondly would you like to speak to our group before Christmas about Tescos and anything else you would to discuss? It would be great to hear from you.
Regards
Andy
