Planning Committee makes decision on the Tesco Toxic Towers Thursday 27^th May

A photo shoot has been called for 6:30pm on the 27th outside Ilford Town Hall to say no to the development. It would be great if you could make it. Eight have confirmed attendance so far at the Facebook event page, should we get to thirty that will be enough.

 

Google stop the tesco towers facebook page to find the event page. If you can share the event page it would be much appreciated.

 

Tesco are offering the Council £34,990 if the development goes ahead as “air quality mitigation”

Parents whose children have asthma are unlikely to think the £34.990 this is good value. Should the councillors vote to pass the development and take the money, our campaign will investigate the prospects of a legal challenge. Other applications have been stopped on air quality grounds so it is reasonable to explore what is possible if required.
