Unanswered Questions from Cllr Zammett from 27th May Planning Meeting

 Got these questions via Freedom of Information that Cllr Zammett tabled at 27th May meeting which remain unanswered.


"Please find attached a copy of my speech agree with my ward colleagues.  To convert some of the points into  questions for officers I have produced the following list:  Would it be possible to have a new slip road between Barley Lane and the High Road?  Could consideration of the application be postponed until a frim and binding agreement is reached on the station  access?  Are we sure existing pavements and station access will be safe given the volume of passengers when the Homebase  development is factored in?  Will the plans facilitate a modal shift in terms of vehicle movements and the consequent impact on air quality and  environmental factors?  Would it be possible to have an underpass between the development and the park and do we have an impact  assessment on current users?" ENDS

If a legal challenge is mounted in due course, I will send them to our lawyer for an opinion as to whether they warrant sending to a judge.
