Dear Residents
Photoshoot to ask
Michael Gove MP to stop the Tesco Toxic Towers
Sunday 20th
March 5:30pm outside Tesco Goodmayes Store
There were four child
deaths linked to air pollution in RM6 over a two year period ending 22 March
2021. These figures are supplied by BHRUT, the local NHS Trust, and are
available at my what do you know page.
The total child
deaths in the BHRUT area linked to air pollution for the period were 38. These
four child deaths in RM6 appear disproportionally high and I have asked Sadiq
Khan and Cllr Athwal to look into the issue, both have declined. The concern
must be the pollution caused by the construction of the Tescos, Homebase, White
House, Seven Kings High Rise & other local developments will make air
pollution worse and so damage child health.
Michael Gove recently
called in a Tesco/Homebase development in Syon Lane, elsewhere in London. Mr
Gove did this following a successful local campaign.
As part of the
campaign to stop the Tecco Toxic Towers I would be grateful if you could attend
the photoshoot this Sunday at 5:30pm outside Tescos. Bob Archer of Redbridge
Trades Council, Ashburn Holder, Liberal Democrats & RoseMary Warrington of
the Greens will be attending.
