Dear Parents & Residents

Labour Bullies Kids at High Court!

A UN convention says environmental court costs should not be hugely expensive. Labour is breaching this convention by applying for unlimited costs in the Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers court case.

The court case will be withdrawn if the Labour application is successful.

The objections of two local primary schools feature in legal arguments lodged at court. The death of Ella Adoo-Kissi-Debrah shows air pollution can kill.

Labour needs to withdraw their application for unlimited costs otherwise the voices of children may not be heard at court. Should you agree this is wrong please write to the Leader of Redbridge Council & Labour, Cllr Athwal at jas.athwal@redbridge.gov.uk.

Local Hospitals cannot Cope

King George & Queens Hospitals had the worst type 1 four hour A&E performance in England in July 2022 (1). Research shows long waits at A&E are linked to worse care leading to longer stays in hospital and higher death rates (2). If the Tesco development goes ahead along with other developments it seems bound to make NHS care worse for your family. If you can donate £5 or more to the legal fund to Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers, please go to crowdjustice.com/case/stop-the-tesco-toxic-towers or scan
