Video Appeal to Cllr Jas Athwal seeking meeting over nonsense claim that I am a multi-millionaire

 

Redbridge Trades Council wrote to Cllr Jas Athwal seeking the unlimited costs claim in our Judicial Review be withdrawn. The Trades Council got a reply from a Council officer saying they would not withdraw their application. Our judicial review is an Aarhus Convention environment claim. This means legal costs should not be prohibitive in order to protect the environment from government plans which will damage the environment. 

I make a video appeal for a meeting with Cllr Jas Athwal seeking a meeting about his Council's application for unlimited an unlimited costs order.

The Council's lawyers' claim that I am a multi-millionaire are a nonsense. I live in an ordinary house in Blythswood Road, drive an eleven year old car and my last holiday was in Torquay, not Aspen! I am sure that if Jas meets me he will agree that I am not a multi-millionaire and he will withdraw the application for unlimited costs.
