Cllr Athwal says school at the Tesco Toxic Towers won't be built
This is Cllr Jas Athwal saying on 26.1.23 that no school at the Tesco Toxic towers will be built as if went ahead it would mean other "schools being closed". Begs question of why Jas is spending tax payers money to defend a clearly defective application at High Court which should be withdrawn? Also means the 106 agreement, which is money that Tescos gives to the community in exchange for building the Towers, needs re-negotiating as currently Tesco is down for a substantial contribution for building the school.
Questions need to be answered about the school not being built otherwise, speculation will grow about what is going. For example, if Tesco/Weston Homes win the Judicial Review will an amendment be sought to the application for another high rise tower where the school is? The Seven Kings Homebase Horror Towers have seen an application for more flats since the Councillors, passed it, although it is for a small number.
