Dear Kenneth Murphy - CEO Tesco PLC
Re: Goodmayes Tesco Development - London Borough of Redbridge
We understand that Tesco is part funding a primary school at the proposed Goodmayes development via a 106 agreement.
We would be grateful if you could consider siting the school away from the busy polluting High Road or at the very least least provide the best quality air filters at the proposed school.
It is baffling that what appears a child health issue is the subject of litigation at the High Court and hope to hear from you in the near future.
Yours sincerely
10) The THE ELLA ROBERTA FAMILY FOUNDATION is at https://ellaroberta.org/contact-us their support for siting the school inside the development or for it to have filters would be significant. The foundation is a charity, so I do not expect them to support us unless we have Sam Tarry on board too. This is because without the support of Sam, the foundation may not get involved with a campaign which is critical of a Labour Mayor and Council.
Having said this it does not seem to damage our cause by writing to the foundation now seeking they write to Tescos on the school point.
