Dear Goodmayes Avenue Residents and other local residents
Public meeting Tuesday 2nd May 8pm Methodist Church
Hall Percy Road IG3 on Tesco and Homebase developments
Homebase Construction Pollution update
1)
Goodmayes Avenue residents attended the Redbridge cabinet recently, but the
Council Leader, Jas Athwal refused permission for one of the residents to speak.
A letter from residents was sent to Jas on the 20th April, but so far,
no reply has been received.
2)
Fairview have agreed to meeting residents to discuss their concerns and are
requesting questions in advance. Please send me your question ahead of the
meeting and let me know via email should you wish to attend,
Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers judicial review
I
have an application for child death and hospital admissions for full postcodes linked
to air pollution at the Upper Tribunal (the court below the High Court). I have
changed tack from seeking the information is given to me and instead argue that
it is given to an academic.
It
seems this information is vital to make the case that new homes should not be
built by busy roads, especially when close to noisy railway lines. This is
because some academics claim noise pollution is the second worst pollution after
air pollution.
The
support of elected representatives for this information will be helpful to our
campaign
Regards
Andy
