Photoshoot Thursday 19^th May 7pm at the Homebase Construction Site entrance on Goodmayes Avenue

 

The Fairview site manger wrote to me on the 19^th April to say he would meet residents concerned by the pollution caused by the Homebase site. Residents are concerned by dust and noise pollution, the houses closest to the site are complaining of cracks in walls.

Nearly a month has gone by and a date has not been provided for a meeting. This is unacceptable to me, should you agree, perhaps you could attend the above photoshoot at which we will deliver a letter seeking an urgent meeting. This newsletter is at the above site should you wish to share it.

 

Is Redbridge reviewing High Rise under construction?

Havering has paused building on some High Rise due to fire safety concerns according to a recent Romford Recorder article. Redbridge Labour is yet to publish a statement on the issue. The letter to Fairview will also raise this issue.
