Dear Residents
Residents public
meeting: 8pm Monday 20th November at Methodist Church Hall, Percy
Road IG3 8DQ: Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers!
At time of writing Weston Homes have not put in
their new plan for the Tesco site.
A concern is that the amended plan will have the
same number of homes, but in a slightly different layout. This might allow the
Council to avoid the amended plan going to a full planning committee and
instead the Chair deciding alone based on the officers’ recommendation.
I have copied in the planning officer responsible
for the application and hope to have news on this point by the 20th
November.
The legal fundraiser to cover my costs for last
Judicial Review and explore the possibility of a second judicial review is at
gofund.me/cfd99858
Should you be supportive it would be great if you
could make the meeting on the 20th November. Keith Prince AM, the only Redbridge elected representative who
supported our judicial review, will speak at a meal on 25th November at a local
restaurant. Please contact Andy should you wish to attend.
Regards
Andy Walker
CC: Ms Anna van Overbeke – Chief
Planning Officer, Redbridge Council
