Dear Residents

Residents public meeting: 8pm Monday 18th March 2024 at Methodist Church Hall, Percy Road IG3 8DQ: Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers:

Hotel in new plan for Tesco site

The provisional plan for the Tesco store has substituted the primary school with a hotel. The plans are available at the blog above.

The campaign team will also be petitioning outside Tesco on 17th March from midday to 1pm, if you could help us on the day it would be much appreciated. The change petition is at change.org/p/help-the-campaign-to-stop-the-tesco-toxic-towers. There will be a photoshoot outside the store at midday.

Planning Committee 25th March 7:15 Redbridge Town Hall

Join the campaign team on the 25th March to hold Councillors to account for granting permission to so many high rise towers, which I believe will turn into slums. Labour has changed standing orders governing meetings to make it more difficult for the public to ask questions so our questions may be banned. If our questions are banned, we will have a protest outside the Town Hall at 6:30pm instead. Contact Andy if you interested in attending.

The above and other issues will be discussed at the meeting. Donations can be made

at gofund.me/8365c858 or scan  for legal advice about the merits of a second judicial review.
