5th January 2025

Dear Residents

Residents public meeting: 8pm Monday 6th January 2025 at Methodist Church Hall, Percy Road IG3 8DQ: Stop the Tesco Toxic Towers:

The legal campaign now stands at £2190, a further £20 means we reach 13% of the initial target. To donate please go to gofund.me/8365c858

As well as the latest news on Tesco, we will discuss other items, such as how gathering evidence for a misconduct in public office charge against Kam Rai, Jas Athwal and senior officers is progressing The next item will be Redbridge Labour's new plans to further restrict public speaking rights at Council meetings. Also, how much council tax the poor should pay has been devolved to local councils. In the past the poor did not have to pay any Council Tax, however, Redbridge Labour like other Councils has steadily been asking the poor to pay more council tax.

Labour plans to cut council tax support for the poor and the disabled at a February Council meeting. My view is that most people do not want those who find it difficult to walk, have breathing difficulties or some other form of disability to be made even poorer. Come to the meeting and have your say.
