The Barking & Havering University Hospitals Trust board meet earlier today. Matthew Trainer, the Trust Chief Executive, reported £50M of cuts in the budget for next year 25/26. In the past the ambition was to improve care, now it is now managing the "least harms and outcomes" for patients   The above is short clip from the meeting today. The below is an extract from the board minutes stating "deliberate decisions to constrain access to services" "770 whole time equivalent posts" is code for sacking 770 staff.
